My child no longer fits into the infant car seat and is still unable to sit independently. Can I transition my toddler to the stroller seat form my travel system when strolling?

Answer

No. Your child must be able to sit up unassisted to use any of our Safety 1st strollers independently (without use of an infant car seat on the stroller frame).

Only once your child can sit up unassisted (typically around 6 months old), you can recline the toddler seat in the stroller, remove the infant car seat, and transition them out of the infant seat when strolling.

*Please note, you would still want to transition your little one to a car seat that better fits them for travel in the vehile (ie: convertible car seat, etc.).
