How should I adjust the vehicle seat belt to properly fit my child when riding in a belt-positioning booster?

Answer

Here are some helpful tips when installing your Safety 1st Belt-positioning booster:
• Your child should sit with their bottom and back flat against the child restraint.
• The shoulder belt should lay snugly across the center of the child’s shoulder and across the chest (not on their face or neck). The lap belt should lay snugly across the child’s upper thighs (not on the stomach).
• To help position the shoulder belt, you may need to utilize the shoulder belt-positioning guide provided on your seat*.
• Never place the shoulder belt under the child’s arms or behind their back.

*Read user manual for your specific model regarding instructions for belt routing and use of different belt-positioner styles as needed.
